Parks & Rec turned on the sprinklers in the city parks this weekend due to the 80-degree weather. This afternoon Aydin expressed a great deal of interest in getting in there, so I said, "Go go for it!" She didn't seem to mind the bigger kids running around -- in fact, all day she has been a bit of a love bug, patting other children on the back and generally lowering her force field. She even let her buddy Jason show her how to jump in a puddle. (That's his truck she's playing with.) Her waterproof sandals are now on the way via Zappo's.
