Finally tracked down someone at the pediatrician's office. Great news -- Aydin's lead count is 2.8. (Last reading, 9 months ago, was 6.) What a relief to feel that we are finally moving past this. So many thanks go to my dear Ozan for putting in so many hours fixing the nicks and questionable spots on our apartment's door jambs and molding. I'm confident that had a lot to do with her low reading!
In other health news, Aydin is still officially allergic to dairy and eggs (both the whites and the yolks). So looks like it's another year of megan (meat+vegan) dining. Hopefully that won't put too much of a strain on everyone over the holiday season.
