Addendum

Spoke with Ozan more tonight. Seems I overreached in my analysis of
the health inspector's findings. He basically gamma-rated all the
walls and windows and yes, found lead paint underneath, but that is
very common. There were only a few places where exposure could have
occurred. We'll never know, though, how much exposure came from the
apt and how much came from any "hot" objects A may have come in
contact with. Regardless, just the very fact of her just-high-enough
reading meant that the inspector was going to have to require total
abatement. So my use of the word "contamination" in my previous was
too harsh; forgive me. It was the craziness of all this affecting me!
Needless to say we are still very concerned about Aydin and are
chagrined to be facing yet another forced move, particularly during
these turbulent times.

Thank you to all who have called and written to expess support. We are
so tired of it already. Just a lot of emotions. I just want to take a
moment now, before I try to sleep, to thank my dear Ozan from the
bottom if my heart for being my rock. You are amazing, my love. Happy
anniversary. I promise, this year's gonna be a good one!
