Aydin has an ear infection in her left ear, which means we've begun the tortuous process of attempting to give her amoxicillin. It's horrible! Pink, sticky stuff oozing out of her mouth (instead of down her gullet). Lots of tears. It's the first time we've seen her shut that mouth tight and refuse what's on offer! Yesterday she ran a low grade fever and was feeling pretty punky. Today she seems in better spirits, though. She's back to her cooing, grabbing self.
One thing to note: this morning she babbled, "meh meh meh," and "beh beh beh." Good progress!
