Something happened over the weekend. We don't know the exact moment, but at some point since Friday night, our little baby has turned into a little girl. There's just something about her expressions now that seem more toddler than infant. Maybe it's because she's sooo keenly interested in the world around her, always craning her neck to see what's just out of sight. She tenses with excitement over so many things: the BBC news theme song, Kitty's tail curling around the edge of the sofa, the sight of my orange cup of water going to my lips. I know this picture is blurry, but doesn't she just look a little older to you?
