We had a great time in Ireland last week. As expected, Aydin was the star of the show wherever we chose to go. She slept pretty well on the way over, but had a hard time on the plane coming back. Today, our first day back, she's definitely having some trouble getting back into the swing of sleeping in her crib. She probably just misses all that fresh Irish air! She certainly got a noseful at the Cliffs of Moher — a 600-foot tall precipice overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Check out the Cliffs and much more on our Kodak site.
What we saw:
Random Ruins
Cows
Pubs
Nuns!
Roadkill (form of: badger)
A snail
What we ate:
Bangers n' Mash
Beef & Guinness Stew
Chicken Curry
What we drank:
Guinness (of course)
Smithwick's (owned by Guinness)
Bulmer's (cider)
Beamish (sort of like Guinness)
Lots of tea (decaf, of course)
Where we stayed:
The Clarence (Posh! We had a balcony!)
Adare Manor (Also posh! Our room was almost as large as our apartment!)
