Aydin just got her first potty, a big yellow Baby Bjorn one that sits like a golden throne. She is proud of it and points to it, declaring it hers. She sits her new purple bear, SuJo, on it, pretending it's going to the potty. We've put her on it twice but so far, no money shots. But it'll be fun to see how it evolves. She now points to her diaper and says, "Poopoo" when she's doing a number 2, but no commentary on number 1.
And of the purple bear, thank you Susan & John! (Can you figure out how we named it?) It may have been pure coincidence that you picked out a purple one for our new purple lover, but no matter. She loves him all the same!
And also of Leonard Cohen, thank you a hundredfold, Susan & John. We will remember this evening the rest of our lives.
